Those little red lights are NEVER a good sign. Yesterday one came on in the swagger wagon. It looks like a battery. When I looked it up in the owners manual it said that the little battery light meant that there was a problem with the electrical system. Oh man! So off to the swagger wagon hospital we go this morning. And within an hour they called to tell me that the s.w. needs a new alternator. Thankfully, thankfully, thankfully the problem is still covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. I cannot tell you how glad I am that this is something that is covered under warranty, because I was really worried about what it was going to be and what it was going to cost.
It’s spring break here! I know that I haven’t posted a menu plan in over a week. Heck, I haven’t blogged in over a week. I do apologize if you were counting on me for either meal ideas or entertainment. I filled in for the music teacher at the elementary school last week so I am behind on everything. I just finished cleaning house and the washer and dryer are running as I type.
Would you believe that we have spent $30 on training wheels for E’s bike and all we have to show for it is two sets of training wheels that don’t fit on the dang bike?!?! I mean, shouldn’t training wheels be pretty standard? And be made to fit on kids’ bikes? Very frustrating! Mr. G set off to Walmart almost an hour ago in search of another set to fit the bike.
And that is what is going on here…I’ll try to be more interesting in my next entry. 🙂
