Well, yes–sort of…..after the 21 days was over I went on a little bit of a sugar binge. I had all intentions of keeping up with the no-sugar program. There was just one problem—I didn’t lose a pound, not an ounce! Which really ticked me off. I mean why give up my favorite “food group” if there wasn’t any reward? So for a couple of days I went a little sugar crazy but then I kind of climbed back up on the wagon—while dragging one foot along the road….I did have some cheesecake on Mother’s Day.
But overall, I am still following the sugar free plan. I’m still not drinking coffee in the morning. And, I’m still not drinking sweet tea. I’m sticking with water and herb tea for the most part. Keeping my food focused on meat, veggies, and fruit. Plus, this week I’ve added exercise. I’ve committed to 45 minutes 4x a week. If I can do better more than that, then terrific, but I have to do at least 4 days. I started on Friday and so far, I have exercised 5 days in a row. I think it might be a personal record!
