This was a banana cake recipe that I found online and I tweaked to make it taste better and meet my tastes. For example: I like the mini chocolate chips in it but my husband doesn’t–oh well, he’s not baking it!
4 very ripe bananas
3 C all purpose flour
1 1/2 C sugar
2/3 C oil
2/3 C water
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 C mini chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. In a large mixing bowl, place all ingredients except chocolate chips. Blend well with a hand mixer. Add 1/3 C of the chocolate chips and mix in with a spatula. Pour into pan. Sprinkle the top with the remaining chocolate chips. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes. No need to frost—yummy as is. 🙂
